The Illini Golden Opportunity sale was held recently at Golden Oaks Farm in Wauconda, IL. The unofficial average was $2074.
Golden Oaks purchased the top selling lot consigned by Jonathan Heinsohn, Red Carpet Holsteins. Selling for $6500 Lot 5 was a 1st choice Snowman or MAS from Regancrest G Brandis. Brandis is a Goldwyn Granddaughter of Barbie that has produced several top genomic calves to date.

The top selling LIVE animal was Golden Oaks AS Charlene consigned by Golden Oaks Farms and purchased by Nelson Heinzmann and Jason Brammeier for $5300. Charlene is an Alexander from Golden Oaks Champ Rae, Champ Rae is an 8th Generation EX Roxy.
