SALE SUMMARY
The 2011 Illini Golden Opportunity Sale was held October 22, 2011, at the Clinton County Fairgrounds, Carlyle, Ill. Tom Morris served as auctioneer with assistance from Larry Kleiner on pedigrees, and ringmen, Scott Courtney, Les Terpstra and Charlie Will. The sale average $3060 on live lots.

Topping the sale at $12,000 was the first choice female consigned by Jeff Butler, from Farnear Brocades P Bella-ET. Dylan Reed’s consignment, Wilra Planet 961-ET, was the high live lot at $7700 and was purchased by Dale Probst. Lot 95 was a special consignment to the sale. Consigned by Select Sires, they donated have of the proceeds of the sale to the Illinois Junior Holstein Association.
